Where should I even begin about this weekend...well how about my most recent experience. The ER.
Worst place EVER. I waited there from 7 tonight until 11:30 and they told me I had to wait 6 more hours just to see a doctor. WHAT THE HELL?!? Do I look like I have that much time to waste?!? But my knee really hurts...I was actually running up the stairs at an auditorium place at UIUC and I tripped and fell right on the edge of the concrete stairs on the joint of my knee...T-T
At first I thought it wasn't too bad but I felt this sharp pain. I thought it was gonna go away in awhile but then about 3 minutes later I felt a warm liquid on my knee and it was slowly seeping through my jeans. I lifted my jeans up and realized that I was actually BLEEDING...and bleeding profusely...Then I started to kind of freak out but I cleaned my wound and it was okay. But then after a little while I had trouble bending my knee...
ugh such a horrible experience. So currently I am sitting on my bed with my right leg propped up against piggy and linda's pillow and have an ice pack on it.
Although I must say i am very touched by what all my friends did because of my knee. Horatiu even drove all the way back to campus. Laura and Lillian kept on txting me and asking if I was okay and helped me back to my room etc. And Jamie actually visited me at the ER and Jose...I felt so bad...had to stay with me at the ER for more than 4 hrs when neither of us had dinner...
Ugh stupid knee. I just hope it gets better when I wake up tomorrow and it'll magically be all good :D *pray pray*
But anyways, the main part is: I MET KAORI FINALLY! I haven't seen her for more than 4 years!!! It was really awesome. I met up with Yoo-yeon again too and it was just all so nice. We had dinner together at a korean restaurant and later went to large groups with Yoo-yeon and hung out with her small group and watched a weird sci-fi movie there. All her friends were really sweet and concerned about my knee...
Anyhow. Afterwards I slept over at Kaori's and we talked until 7 in the morning. Caught up on alot of stuff...she's so sweet. I love her dearly <3>
