Happy MOOMOO year!

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

Oh man, im currently in a VERY happy mood. Such a great weekend! Mom and Dad came to visit me and mom seriously cooked SO much food. I never ate SO much in my life i don't think. She had roast beef, dried beef, my favorite pork and mu yu soup, ku gua, eggplant, buns, soymilk, lei cha, fen zhen ribs...omg i seriously ate like A PIG. YUM YUM.

We stayed at downtown marriot. i'm so happy! i really really love my mom and dad alot. and saturday we went shopping on michigan. it was SUPER cold but so much fun. and the sales were insane!!! I think they totally went crazy in banana republic and bought SO much stuff there. The deals were seriously ridiculous though.

And saturday night we went swimming and spa-ing. haha it's nice to do that with my parents again. just like when i was little! <3>

I 'm just so blessed to have such wonderful and supportive parents like my mom and dad. i love them so so so much! And for this new year i just wish they can be healthy and safe and have a properous year. And i will be very happy :) And as for me, i want to be successful in my studies!!! YAY! 加油！

Still going bonkers

Going Bonkers

Oh what can i say...i'm back to my old self again. hehe. <3

Currently going quite bonkers along with Jisook...because well she's obsessed over BH and as for me teehee...i saw him at the reg today!!! Aaaaaand he offered to help me in the evil subject of numbers!!! wahahaha. he's so cute. <3>

and around 12 ish when me and ji sook walked out, i said by to him and he was studying japanese on his own! how cute and dorky is that? :P wah. he's too perfect. hmm i hope things work out okay...gah.

but YAY! okay we'll see how class goes tomorrow. gosh. ok i should go to bed so i don't look like a raccoon or something when i go to class tomorrow. *sigh* okies okies! Wish me luck! <3

Cold...

It is SOOOO cold outside! And by cold i mean...7 degrees F T-T''

I just finished my math hw. Gah, how much I forgot since last year calculus...I think i really need to eat stuff that help my memory *wacks head*

I'm currently waiting for the venture to adventure thing at bartlett. Hopefully it is useful and not a waste of time. I'm also quite starving...gah. I ate lunch at like 11 at hutch while trying to sell tickets. So much work for CUSA these days it's so tiring. @______@

And my room mate not exactly helping by yelling on the phone at 3 in the morning last night. Gosh. What the hell...RAWR.

But on a brighter note, I do have math class tomorrow! :D tehehehehe. enough said. i seriously cannot wait until the weekend! Until all this CUSA stuff is over. GAH. It should be a great show though.

Yeah. not a really interesting update i know. i'm just really really cold right now. BRRRRRR. do not wanna go outsiiiiiiiide x-X

Busy Busy Bee!

It has been exactly five days since I've been back to school but I feel like so much time has past, so many things already happend that I've been back for a month T-T''

So with the CUSA show next saturday, things are pretty hectic. i'm in charge of selling tickets so i had to write the number on the back of all the tickets...all 800 of them. and speaking of, i just got back from selling them at reynolds. stayed there for ...well let's just say from 10:45 until 2...*sigh* except we only sold 2. which really sucks :(

Also, i have to rehearse for the fan dance in the show AND i have to sing a duet with jaysern. wah! so much stuff going on. and RBIM is starting friday too. i'm going crazy! @_________@

But at the same time i don't feel frustrated or anything, i actually enjoy doing this. well maybe not like sitting at reynolds for 3 hours but other than that it's actually really fun. and everyone is working hard. so it'll be a great show! :)

i'm just a bit tired though. I feel somewhat drained. but 加油加油咯！ o(^-^)o

btw, rowan is coming tonight and staying until saturday hahahahaha so that should be fun. :P

YAAAAAAAAAY! math class tomorrow! hehe and review session today. i hope someone goes...WAHAHAHA

Happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2009!



So 2008 has come to an end. I know that it has been a pretty tough year in general for the world. The Sichuan earthquakes, the economic crisis, the ice storms in China just to mention a few. But for me 2008 has been surprisingly an exceptionally wonderful year. I think now is a good time to be a little nalstagic and reflect on some important events in 2008.

1. Graduating from High School :) I can't believe I am no longer in high school. The fact that I am a college student is still mind boggling sometimes...

2. Fundraising for the Sichuan Earthquake victims. I feel that once in my life that I was actually able to make a change and help others. Even though I had to stand outside of Wal-Mart for 4 hours straight in the scorching 90 degree June-July weather it made me feel good. I'm so glad we raised more than $3000 in less than 4 sessions.

3.Going to see the terra cotta warrirors in Xi An like I always wanted to see when I was little. The mignificence of it is breathtaking.

4.Being part of the Beijing Olympics. It is honestly indescribable...one of the most exciting moments of my life

5. Witnessing China's first medal in men's sabre.

6. Meeting various athletes during the olympics, such as Tom Daley <3.>

7. Going to my dream school--University of Chicago. I am living my dream!!! I couldn't be any happier. And all the wonderful experiences I had there and the people I met.

So I was reflecting on my life and I just realized that I am SO grateful and thankful that I am in such a wonderful point in my life right now. I am at the school I always wanted to go to, living my dream. I am not going to let any negativity affect that. I am focused and finish and accomplish to do what I set out to do in the beginning. All the opportunities are within my grasp. I just have to work hard to make sure I obtain them before they slip away. It is going to be challenging at times I know, but I am confident I can do it!

2008 was a great year but 2009 is going to be even better!!! I will work hard and become a better person day by day :)
